Does anyone have a recommendation On a good flannel-lined jean? my waist size is about 37". Which means regular 36" jeans are almost too tight (Its what I wear daily now, though since jeans are 2" standards), but if I go 38" , they are usually loose in the waist, and I look like I pooped my pants. If I go with 36", the flannel liner will make it a 35". Should I go with a 38" and hope its sized down? and what brand?

My experience with flannel lined jeans is to go with one size over. Hopefully they will be a bit too big because the first time you wash and dry them they will shrink. You cant really line dry them because if its cold enough to wear them its probably cold enough to freeze them.

I'm size 38 but 40s feel so good I buy 42s! Seriously though I do have a pair of wranglers that are flannel lined now for a couple years and really like them. I think their 40s.

I think I saw Wrangler flannel lined at walmart last week but they way their stock has been I dont know how varied their sizes were.

I also wear a 37 waist, and had the same problem of being in between sizes. I finally found that LL Bean makes jeans in a 37 waist. I like the relaxed fit, but there are other styles/cuts. They have a flannel version, but I haven't tried it.

I wear LL Bean Jeans with a 37 in comfort waist. I have a pair of 37 in flannel lined comfort waist jeans, I would recommend them. Land's End also has jeans in 37 in waist, not sure if they carry flannel lined or not.

Try Tractor Supply. I bought a pair of lined jeans there a few years ago and wear them quite a lot during the winter. Good quality stuff.

Carhart. I bought a pair when I went up to Michigan to stay in a cabin with no even hot water.....they kept me warm and comfortable. I love them.

Flannel lined jeans? What rock was I under when they were invented? Sounds worse then a Leisure Suit. :D

They are for warmth. They look like regular jeans on the outside. There are a few that buy them too long on purpose and roll the pant legs up to make a fashion statement.

I prefer wearing modern thermal underwear under my pants and jeans. I'm a 32X34 and am picky about fit.

I have 2 of these from Lands End which fit under my jeans without adding bulk and feel nice. They have sizes to fit anyone. https://www.landsend.com/products/m...pants/id_326693?attributes=8063,44961&rd=true

Walmart has some decent ones in the Russell brand.

Haha, they might me a little sweaty in Cajun Country but come up to Northern Idaho and the Columbia Valley up in Canada and you’ll find them quite comfy while ice fishing on a frozen lake! ;) Here’s a shot of our lake. The neighbour’s kids were throwing rocks on it while it was freezing.

Never worn Eddie Bauer but the Croft and borrow at Kohl's are reasonably priced and comfortable.

I believe this is a common issue with flannel lined jeans and have same problem when in gets to be near 0F I pull them out I just deal with the fit issue. Good luck I don't think you will find that magical brand and fit your looking for.
