Even my first UOA Ive had 1ppm of silver,

I am now at 62k miles, last UOA wast 50k

I cut my oil filter using tin snips from the gasket area.

I tested the particles with a Hard Drive magnet they are non magnetic so ...

What was sitting on the bottom, I have not cut open the actual filter.

Bearing material - on WRX probably tin.
Are you doing extended oil changes?

Yep seems that way but its coincidence, the 1ppm I never worried about but it should read zero, the oil isn't the issue, many people run this oil without issue.

Unsure exactly, next week going to get tweezers and pick as much out as I can from the filter and try to identify what material it is.

Bearing is silver in WRX after 09 something like that, Nope lve been doing ~3750 now to see if the silver goes away but I haven't redone a UOA since I feel like I was wasting money getting the same results back.
