Do you add salt to your coffee

Most people I suppose drink it black or with cream and sugar. Anyone using salt? I read the other day that just a tiny bit of salt can help reduce the bitter taste in some coffees. The salt interferes with the bitter taste bud.

I tried it and I must say that it really brightened up the flavor. My son has used salt in his coffee for quite some time.

So what do you all put in your coffee?
Salt would aid in the diarrhetic effect of coffee.

I usually put protein powder in mine. Cocoa flavor. Killer

I just tried a tiny bit of salt in my coffee. Granted its a K cup brew, but I don't notice any difference. I might have to try it in a conventional pot brew.

Black coffee is the quintessential acquired taste. But once you appreciate it, the subtle differences are noticeable and desirable. A good cup is delicious. A bad cup is disgusting.
