Anything negative comments for these tires, please please share.
I'm about to pull the trigger on these. Escalade never goes off road. some snow here & there, and lots of rain.
Not even a gravel driveway, just asphalt only.

Why not go with the Continental Pure Contact. I have them on my Passat and they are excellent tires with good wet and dry traction. They wear very well.

Not that I have found so far, looking at getting a set for the Durango in the next month or two which will replace the Michelin’s.

I have used them on a full size truck and suv. Good tires, solid performance. If they are not noticeably less expensive then the Michelins, I would go Michelin for better tread life.

@The Blur - these are a good match for the vehicle, probably a great match. They may feel a little squishy for the first 500 miles as the rubber sets in, don’t panic if you notice it. I think you’ll be quite pleased with them for the way you said you’ll use them.

Tread life excluded their website claims they out perform the Michelins in some catagories.
The TerrainContact H/T is a premium all-season touring tire designed for light trucks and full-size SUVs. With an optimal balance between on-road manners and off-road durability, this tire features TractionPlus Technology, which provides improved traction and durability, better grip on wet roads, and quiet road noise.

  • Best-in-class wet braking*
  • Best-in-class snow traction*
  • Exceptional tread life
  • Well-balanced on-road performance
  • Robust durability
  • Low road noise
  • Available in Outlined White Letter (OWL) and Black Sidewall (BSW)

*Based on internal wet braking and snow traction test results compared to the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2, Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra, and Goodyear Wrangler Steadfast HT, in the size 275/55R20. On road results may vary.

If it never goes off-road I would look more into an SUV touring tire like the Crossclimate 2 SUV or Scorpion Weatheractive/Scorpion AS Plus 3.

Don’t think. Just get it, ESPECIALLY if a lot of rain!

So far so good on my Ram. Had them since April, about 16,000 miles ago. I can measure them in the morning if your interested.

Don't know if they are going to be available in his size. And don't forget Goodyear has an offering the Weather Ready 2. :)

They'll be going my '22 Ram once the OEM Bridgestone tires give up the ghost.

All of the test results are pretty solid, but Continental tires have a tendency to have balance issues, especially as they age.

I absolutely loved the TerrainContact H/T on my 2022 Silverado. I traded it in, so I didn't get a lot of miles. They were the only tire I had on that truck that could drive in the snow in RWD consistently. Rain/wet traction was stellar too.

Put a set on our 2020 JGC Trailhawk and while I wasnt blown away they did fine for street duty. Found them to be a good all-arounder. No problem in moderate snow, rain, Ok with ice. Did lose 1-2 mpg. Were difficult to balance, had to road force them and eventually replace one under warranty. Light years ahead of the GY Wrangler Kevlar crap that came on the car new. I'd buy them again.

Lx 25s for the win. Easily less expensive than Michelin, balance to a T and have excellent performance in rain and light snow. I actually ran them in a foot of snow on a ski trip with an AWD and not a single blip.

Except they like any A/S tire has horrid braking performance in snow and ice, which is actually what matters.
Also, LX25 is not made for large SUV’s.

You really don't like Goodyear tires! You responded negatively to every single thread. My Son actually drives around in the winter time as a probation officer and says they are quite satisfactory.
