Continental has released an updated to the TerrainContact AT, now the Terrain Contact AT2. It looks very similar, basically the previous model with 3x the siping. This model carries the snow badge, which the previous version did not. It’s a little heavier than some of the other competitors like Bridgestone and Toyo, which may be a good thing (do you really want an A/T that is featherweight? What is being compromised?)

I had two sets of the previous version and found them to be excellent in the rain, very quiet, and athletic in handling. I had to keep them aired a little over placard to not be too squishy, and as such they towed well and tolerated mild trail/gravel or gravel/towing duties. My only complaint was something like mild carcass squirm with both sets when they got over 20k miles on them. Fabulous in the rain, and that’s in a pickup truck, a very hard tire to beat.

No reviews, and limited sizes so far. Looks like the ubiquitous 275-65 r 18 is available.
