Coffee - Your Current Brew

Perhaps. But a very enjoyable one. It becomes as involved as one chooses to make it. I tried to keep it somewhat simple...a Baratza Encore, a Moccamaster and a Gaggia Brera superautomatic.
Yep no doubt, only slight negative is when that sort of suggestion is mentioned most get analysis paralysis reading so much of what others find 'best' for their use.

New England Coffee Medium roast, whole bean.
OXO grinder.
OXO drip coffeemaker.
Just opened my Oxo conical burr grinder 2 weeks ago. It's for our beach house. I'm pleased with it. Almost zero static issues and grind consistency is very close to the Baratza Encore in our primary home. Probably the best grinder available for <$100. Have got twin Moccamasters for both homes. Oxo stuff is generally good quality.

Decided to try Tim Horton’s as it seems to be a medium blend. Ordered some beans. First taste tomorrow morning.

The squirrels seem to like it: they gnawed through a wrapper and some cardboard.

Made a Frankenblend yesterday. 2/3 Old Bisbee Rosters holiday blend and 1/3 Community Coffee Breakfast Blend Medium Roast pre-ground. Came out a lot better than I expected. Actually it was tasty. It was the end of two different bags.

I like to try a different big can every time I finish one. I liked the dark silk maxwell but i like their French roast more which I've had for a few days so far. Stronger and better tasting than the kroger french roast. Really nice for a large brand coffee.

Been buying and storing in a cool spot due to the (Faux/Real ?) coffee shortage. Prices on Amazon and the private roasters I deal with are rising rapidly. In the last month I'm seeing about a $3 lb increase average.

Summary: it’s a good medium blend.
Have drank a lot of Tim Horton's over the past 2-3 years. It is consistent and not over roasted. For a cheaper coffee it grinds nice without dust or excess static, which tells me it is from hard grade high altitude Arabica beans.

Only on day 2 but we already know this will be our new go to coffee.
Backstory,
A while back Costco stopped carrying our favorite bean, also our favorite "Gold Coffee" that we purchased from Florida was getting way too pricey for us and why we tried the Costco stuff.
In-between we found a satisfactory mix of Kirkland deep roast beans and another brand "moon" something. It was passable.

However, still searching for reasonable good coffee (your taste might differ) we were pleasantly surprised at none other than an Amazon Dark Coffee bean. Now on our second day, I think this is a keeper for sure. Great price, STRONG, dark coffee and yet is smooth (for a dark roast)
Sometimes we will mix the dark beans with a medium bean. The dark beans are wet so we would mix in 1/3rd medium as the dark beans clog our grinder unless we clean it every week. But not ready to do that with the Amazon beans yet.

If you like a strong bean this might be a worthy try.
