Its interesting that the individually packed steaks at Walmart are normally $5/lb cheaper than the ones in the multi-packs. All the ones I've had were quite good.

That's a 3–pound pack (3 1–lb packs together), so $6.67/lb. Not a bad price for 85% lean organic ground beef (whatever "organic" means in this case). In the US organic is a fancy word meaning ripoff.
Lidl regularly has sales for 10–ounce ribeye steaks at $6.99 each, which is $11.20/pound.
