Changing filters in 5000 miles

If you change your oil at or around 5000 miles do you change the filter just once? Or do you change or try change it say 2500 miles? Reason asking i change my oil around 5000 miles. Today i cut the filter and the pleats are very very oily. So wondering if be better change around 2500 miles.

Filter should be oily. I run OG ULTRA and titanium’s to 20k

I’m gonna run the Toyota filter on Dakota to 10k too. Train is I’m using HPL oil

Change oil and filter at every 6 mos/5000 mile OCI since my first car in 1985. Our 1993, 2005, 2014 and 2022 vehicles get the same.
