Good point but.... I'd bet at 6k there's a good chance both the VWB and Castrol would have a higher TBN than ST. Depletion is not linear, so while starting TBN is definitely interesting for comparisons sake you can't simply judge an oil by it's starting TBN alone. If that were the case everyone on here would be running HDEO's.
