The want to be independent should be enough to warrant working hard. There's really no excuse not too. Or hear me out, it could be because women don't have to be trapped inside a dead end marriage with a husband that Bill Clinton's their secretary. Now that they get to be independent, make their own money, and vote, they have no reason to be beholden to sub-par men.

1.4 million women on only fans. 82 million American men have subscribed to it at least once. That's half of the males in the USA. 90% of them are married too, so don't blame the lack of drive or motivation for a family on females.

Sounds like their profession is booming anyways. I'd sell a couple feet pics for a gt3rs.
What do those " working " women do when they hit age 35 ? Society in decline if it's acceptable for women to disgrace themselves like this . What man with any pride would want a woman in that line of work ? I'm no prude , but I never would have dated a sex worker .

Not really.
What drives an average man to work hard? For young men it’s chasing women. For older and married men it’s supporting your family.

All of that is practically destroyed by women making money and high divorce rates.

Many men are simply checking out. If they can’t get a woman and can’t have a family with her, there is no drive or motivation left in them.

Here is a frightening statistic. Roughly 1.4 million women are on onlyfans. In the past these women would’ve been called the oldest profession in the world, today it’s called empowerment.

You know your old when you have to actually look up what “onlyfans” is, lol!

Of course there are two sides to every story/problem. But the discussion usually focuses around men. Women are usually never mentioned. They’re liberated now from that awful and abusive husband, so they should start putting their fair share of work. If men aren’t stepping up, they should. Isn’t it exactly what they wanted?

And you know what’s the funniest? All these “liberated” women and boss babes still want a “traditional” husband that will provide and protect. Most will say they want to be stay at home moms/wives. you can’t make this stuff up.

They do put in their fair share of work, what kind of low lives are you hanging around where people aren't being better and fair because it's the right thing to do?

They work, what do you expect? Not many men would want a female in that line of work just like not many women would want a man looking at another female's body. Except the amount of men that have an OF is extremely disproportionate compared to women so you only want to look at one issue and not the biggest one. Maybe if the 80+ million men wouldn't be paying for these services, there wouldn't be any.

I'm sorry, but this reads like "if she wants this or that, she should know her place." I doubt that was the effect you were going for.

No idea what you're talking about here. what's fair and right?

And women's occupation largely haven't changed. Some were shifted from farm and household services to nursing and HR work, but it is still majority in services. Why aren't women stepping up to the STEM fields? Why aren't they stepping up to construction work, landscaping, plumbing, electrical? They had plenty of time to do so.

We've made staying at home, raising kids and taking care of the household into an evil and oppressive activity, while we glorified working countless hours for a faceless corporation, oftentimes reporting to a man.
We have nurses basically slaving away many, many hours because they're so understaffed, away from their children and family, and we call it liberation. Some liberation...

I'm not sure where you land into this line of thinking, but for many it takes two incomes to run a household. My wife is stay at home, but that's only because of my profession. It took 12 years to get to that point. We've only been on one income for the last 5 years.

Car prices and pretty much everything else skyrocketed over the last four years for no reason at all, except stupid spending and people didn’t bat an eye. most in fact were quite supportive of this.

Now, we may face some hardship short term, but ultimately manufacturers will start producing here again, therefore more good paying jobs will be available.
Of course, this cannot be. No way can we support such an effort, right?

I guess there could be good paying jobs building more prisons, where prisoners make stuff for $0.25 an hour. I see no other way to make affordable stuff with tariffs in place that already drive the price up of resources.

there have been record imports of foreign good just prior to the tariffs being implemented, shipping shedules show this. But around this time the imports are falling (where they usually fall earlier in the year) so give it a month or 2...

The most difficult, tiring, stressful job is being a mom. I relearn that each time my wife is sick and I have to take care of the tribe as she recovers.

We have a very traditional marriage where I work and she stays home. When our first 4 kids were old enough, she tried working and hated it. We adopted 3 more kids. She is a very fulfilled woman.

Your a saint

My mom was a stay at home mother , 5 kids . She is 91 now with dementia . Not real bad but short-term memory is absent . I look back and see how hard she had to work at home and do everything possible I can do to make her life better now . My dad picked a good one .

That’s like blaming drug users for the existence of drug cartels.

Yes and no. The supply and demand would never completely go away. If the demand was not there then the supply would lower alot since it wouldn't be worth the effort to produce and transport the drugs.

It's barely been 100 years since they allowed to vote and barely half of that before they were able to participate in career fields in the USA. 100 years is nothing but a passing second in the homosapien timeline. I work for a female and minority owned architectural, Engineering, and Construction company. The owner can tells stories when they couldn't vote, water fountains were still labeled, and the sexual prejudice and remarks from their male counterparts.

There are physiological and psychological reasons why one gender would prefer one career path over another, like men usually being physically stronger would usually be much more helpful in certain jobs while the better nurturing skills that females have suits them better for other careers. That's generalizing though and society has started to breakthrough that barrier with some vehemently against it, expecting their wives to be essentially their slaves, and at the other end of the spectrum is the "all men are evil."

But to go back to your original statement, putting the blame of men not wanting to work because of women is ridiculous. A guy that only works for the attention of women isn't a man at all. He's a man-child and nobody wants to take care of that. I know a few people like that, thinking having a wife will make their problems go away and then wonder why no women want them. Like "dude you got problems that you gotta fix before adding anything else onto your life."

Sure, at least some. But depending on the product, this takes time, expertise and money.
We don't educate enough engineers, we import them.
I certainly disagree with this. Our engineering schools are par excellence. Folke come here to learn what we teach. That goes for all our technology.
And there is certainly no guarantee prices will be lower. Probably the opposite.
Absolutely agree.

I've been screaming from the rooftops to anyone who would listen that it's important to buy American made, union made products. It sets the high standard. Tariffing Canada and certain other countries is just dumb, though. Tarrifs can be used stratigically to protect our industries in certain situations.
Unions have seen their day. They now cause more problems than they solve. This coming from someone who supervised union workers. And many times saw some benefits when some company over-reach occurred. But for the most part they breed mediocraty and protect the slackers.

But yes-buy American. And I think tariffs used by the U.S. will help level the playing field. We have been screwed since forever.

Absolutely not. In the railroad industry they're trying to take away our pay and way of life. Complete blasphemy.

The haves want us to have nothing and make them more money. It's the only hedge we have to not be destitute.

I don't know the numbers, but I understand the compensation package is at least comparable to the union equivalent.
Tesla employs 25K workers at the Fremont plant, and thousands more in support.

They are always hiring. Not everyone can be a lowly programmer like me.
Agreed. Employers need employees more than in the Haydays of unions. The worker does not need a union to fight for him. Supply and demand rules.

Unfortunately they're always hiring because people are always quitting. The pay is lower.
