For BMW and VW only OE. They go 2-3 winters no issues, and I see mountains twice a week during ski season.
For Honda and Toyota I had, only Bosch.

cool video Double Vanos. Clearly the beam types outperformed steel frames and hybrids. I'm using the cheapest Michelins from that video now. I would say they're sufficient but not great.

I see Goodyear & DOD will soon make more real rubber from Dandelion plants. Maybe we'll have more real rubber again someday too so wipers, tires, etc can last like they used too again? Seems Dandelion & Rubber tree shares same compound?
Starting off its just so military has rubber as worlds rubber will be a very real fight to even get in as little as 10yrs due to rubber tree disease(s). Mainly South American leaf blight.
Only time will tell if we the people ever get any?
They certainly make more ca$h selling us crappy syn rubber tires/wipers that dry rot so much faster. So will we get good stuff again?..humm

Well, now the Trico Ultras are now close to 3 years old, although they still works. The tip of the rubber has ripped.

Time to try out the Trico Force at Rockauto.

Kinda makes me wonder why Rockauto sells the Tricos for such a low price. Old stock?
