@Shannow, I've heard the gluten allergies/intolerance etc. are rampant in Australia, and have been linked to the use of glyphosate (Roundup) on the wheat crops there.

How true is this?

Roundup QuikPro - it has 73.3% glyphosate and 2.9% diquat.

Diquat is an insidious toxin to all living organisms. It does horrible, horrible things inside the human body in any concentration.

I just use generic roundup. concentrate is around 50% and I use it as described. It may take a while to kill but not much evades it's effects. You do see some weeds around here that are resistant in the fields now. Not grasses though, usually some sort of broadleaf.

I use Trimec with some Quinclorac for stubborn weeds like violets. That can still take 2 months to kill those things.
