Best/Favorite first riff/20 seconds of iconic rock song?

Cool cool song live too. Bridge is seemingly laid back yet smooth hard rock
oh now you talking my people. BOC came around our area for 5-6 years in a row to play for a big 3 day festival with many of their era classic bands. I can tell you they blew every other band off the stage. They had so much fun doing that they even played after some nights in small casino bars after the festival.

Biased as a Rush fan, but I can't believe Tom Sawyer hasn't been thrown in yet. Extremely unique and recognizable.
Also a huge Rush fan, and the lead in of Tom Sawyer is the most recognizable of any of their songs to the casual fan, but I wouldn't consider it a guitar riff which are being discussed here. Synthesizer mostly at the beginning.

Huge Rush fan as well and love the song, but this has to be one of the most bizarre songs out there. Probably why I love it.

DEFINITELY put them on the map to major $$$$ and acknowledgement in the music world.Wife likes that RUSH era while I have lot of older original RUSH CDs like All the World is A Stage, 2012, etc.... I definitely must be in mood cause the early RUSH is right between the eyes HARD ROCK the got very little if any radio play.

Need this one on here too. Rush for me:

1) Moving Pictures
2) Everything before Moving Pictures
3) After Moving Pictures

Not original, a lot of fans feel that way, but it definitely describes my sentiments as well.
