I wonder why they wouldn't just put the animal down right where it is and THEN use whatever to move it. Atleast the animal wouldn't experience as much pain.

Have to agree with GMBoy also. BUT bunny huggers would still bring suit if could possibly be viewed by the outside world. Or find another objection.

So what? Without "bunny huggers" or other types of people who care about this and other things the public should know about, a lot worse than this would probably go on. I'm not just talking about the meat industry.
