anyone see the new castrol bottles yet?

i was just at wal-mart last night and went back to the oil ailse just to do a walkthrough quick and i noticed a few jugs of castrol that had a new design on them. has anyone else seen this new design? i couldnt get a pic of it because im using a cheap phone right now as i dropped my smartphone in the toilet

I actually like the new look. Looks more "Modern". However I do not use Castrol despite it being the number one seller ay my WM. I grabbed myself a dusty jug of NextGen.

I have seen a new design for conventional Castrol, but I have not seen any design changes for HM, Black Edge, or Gold Edge.

I thought it was a camshaft slinging oil at first but it's actually just a smooth rod of metal surrounded by an oil typhoon.

Before actually making my way to the oil section I was with the wife in cosmetics when I saw a women in the same isle,in her cart was a jug of GTX 10w30 with the new look. I said "look babe Castrol has a new look" The lady looked at me like I was nuts and walked away.

So it appears they are dropping "Edge" and just going back to calling it Syntec. Probably a smart move. It's been known as Syntec for years and it seems most people still just call it Syntec instead of Edge. They should have just left it alone in the first place.

Agreed. Having two different products with the same name (Edge) was probably confusing for most people.

What I want to know is why there are cookies next to it.
