Any if you have knee problems?

Inflammation, food will either control it or be the cause of it. Either way you have to reduce inflammation for your joints.
Foot wear, good orthotics are a must to control the foot. This effects everything else.
Routine stretching and icing, do both. Icing is 10min on 10-20min off.
Compression socks from time to time.
Lastly, and this sounds stupid, Lay on your bed on your back and put your legs in the air straight up. (use wall or headboard) Do this for 10-15 minutes. 3-5 days a week.

Or Dentist. What they find depends on when the boat payment is due.
I had to chuckle at this one; when I was RIF-ed 21 years ago (21 years ago today in fact), the company provided us with dental coverage through the end of the year. I had a check-up scheduled with my dentist and told him that if he was going to find something, now would be a good time since I'd be losing coverage in 2-1/2 months. He said "don't tell me that because I could use some new fishing gear."

As for knee pain, yes since 2017. No definitive reason.

My knees have been great the last few years! There was a while where my knees felt like they were destroyed.

Turns out the soft soled sneakers was wearing were wearing on the outside edge causing me to always sideload my knees and cause a lot of pain.

For the last six or seven years I've been wearing either shoes with hard soles, boots (even heavy steel toe does not bother them) or barefoot/sock and haven't had a lick of knee trouble.

The shoes they make now seem to be garbage. Even the good brands, don't hold up. I had a pair of tennis shoes that had a steel toe and they were okay, but the inserts went bad after a very short period of time.

I rotate and replace my shoes very often nowadays

It's difficult for the working people who can't do that.

I must say my knees have been great and I had a gouty left knee many years ago

Feet have muscles and tendons that rely on the foot being used barefoot. The more footwear is cushioned and the more it restricts he foot and toes from articulating the more the muscles atrophy and the tendons weaken. Add to that that other than barefoot/natural shape footwear toe boxes are generally too narrow and don't allow the foot to splay out as intended when stepping down. Balance suffers, foot and ankle strength suffers. and foot problems like fallen arches, bunions, bone spurs, fasciitis, knee and back problems may appear over the years. Wearing the same shoes without alternating breaks in your feet more than it breaks in the shoes. Just because shoes feel super-cushy doesn't mean they are actually good for your feet. I walk barefoot as much as possible, ideal on soft grass-covered ground, wear shoes with a toe box that conforms to the natural foot shape, I avoid overly cushioned shoes, and I alternate between shoes to avoid wear patterns on my foot joints. Knee and back problems can often be traced back to foot problems.

Most gym shoes only last "a few hundred miles" worth of wear. I have to buy new casual and dress shoes every few years because I tear mine up from walking so fast and much.

Oddly, my knit Merrell trail runners have lasted 7 years and near 1000 miles. Very outlier though.

My knee feels way better after getting a new pair of shoes. Those shoes I bought were terrible and I guess I just didn't realize it until I got a different pair. I mean I could probably put a new set of inserts in them that have some cushion. I have two other pairs and I have the same complaint. There's like no shock absorbtion in the soles when you walk, no wonder my knees were giving me issues
