Here is a photo from a pack of NGK Platinum plugs. One can get as anal as they want about the calibration of a torque wrench but the recommended torque can be a wide amount. Try make sure the mid point torque on the wrench is in the range required. IE don’t use a 3/8 wrench where a 1/4 would do better.
