9mm handgun recommendation

I just said not that link! That is the "list" - Not the regulation.

go there > click on: Additional information on the Roster of Certified Handguns can be found at California Code of Regulations, title 11, section 4070.
What you wanted wasn’t that clear. I couldn’t tell if you were objecting to my linked post, or linked list. Why does the regulation matter in this discussion?

The guy wanted to buy a gun - and the list I provided bounds/defines the possible options. He cannot buy one unless it is on that list.

Knowing the over-arching regulation is an academic exercise.

Taken in context i thought it was pretty clear I was talking about the regulation on loaded chamber indicators and their relation to the previously recommended 1911's and renewability.

OK - Now I understand. Because of that regulation, no 1911 will ever be approved.

They can’t meet the “loaded chamber indicator” requirement.

Which explains why a bunch were recently removed from the roster.

Is there not a hammer requirement and a safety requirement. SA had made a Hellcat just for CA, pretty ugly thing as memory serves.

I know this is old, but thought I would throw in the Taurus G3 Series. I got the G3C and love it so far. Got some good advice on here about it.
My friend has a G3C and it fits my hand perfectly (I didn't get to shoot it though and I've read that some people don't like the trigger while others like it a lot). What are your thoughts on it's trigger?

He owns a Glock 22 . Surely he can own a G19 with a 10 rd mag .
Surely?

So, you didn’t actually check, then.

California is not that simple - it’s not “surely” at all. They change the approved list all the time.

Guns that were OK a month ago are no longer legal.

Most all gen 3 Glocks are for sale in california. Turners outdoorsman ad glocktober ad. Almost every handgun is can be obtained either consignment sale or private sale legally. Just bought a perfect unfired Les Baer monolith 45 for my collection on consignment at a local shop.

I own a Glock 22, a Smith & Wesson 686, and a Ruger single six but I’ve never owned a 9mm. The easy thing would be to stick with Glock but I was wondering what the communities thoughts are

I have a Glock 19 and 43x MOS. Wife and I both like the latter more and more.
