A while back I got a Turkish made Sarsilmsz SAR B6 in 9mm. Good looking CZ 75 clone that's been dead reliable and it was cheap. Came with a hard case extra mag and cleaning kit for $160 out the door.

Mine had really bad trigger slap and weird hotspots from ledges in the grip frame near the safety. It hurt to shoot. The trigger mechanism is totally different from the CZ, more like a Tanfoglio. I’d steer towards other choices, personally. Sarsilmaz does make reliable stuff though.

Now you got me curious, never noticed anything you mention. Next time out I'll try and pay attention to what you have said. Only fire a magazine or two occasionally to stay familiar with the thing. My criteria is does it hit on or near POA and does it function. Like any tool it'll work for me or not, otherwise I not that discerning. Thanks for the input.

Buddy bought a used P210. I was able to reblue the lightly worn areas, he hated the white sights so i applied glow in the dark green, basic cleaning with brushes and compressed air, ran 20 passes through it to get the barrel spotless, applied some Archoil 4400LP upc 6 08819 24353 5 (dont make anymore) and applied acrylic green glow in the dark as nightsights cant be had. Still working on getting it bright enough; he might have to light charge to get desired effect. And applied skim coat of Griots Carnuaba Wax to protect from wear. Not mine so no serial number will be exposed. Found a better leather holster than the Uncle Tom nylon setup he had. Got to clean up the green on the sides after dries and see if another coat is needed.

When you order online, do you pay your state sales tax or the sales tax in the seller’s state? The sale occurs in your state through an FFL broker. Legally the sale is not complete until you take possession. By definition, that is your state of residence.
actually, some vendors charge NY tax and some don't....

Glock 45 MOS with Halosun red dot sight and a few thousand rounds of 124gr FMJ for the range .

I was fortunate enough to receive two great new Glocks (G17.3 & G26.3) right out of the box that have been 100% reliable , have very good triggers and are on the better side of combat accurate . Both have the frying pan (Tennifer) finish as well . I flirt with wanting a G21.5 , G19.5 or a G45 but am perfectly fine with the two Glocks I already have .

Not super popular, but for $150 used you can get a Taurus G3C. Great gun. Like heavier ammo (124 grain and up.) Takes Federal HST HP ammo really well.

My son recently got a Sig P series (365 maybe?) Small side, but works really well. Good carry size for sure.

I’m here for it. Never saw a reason be interested in a clone, but this changes things.

This allows changing grips easily. Serializing the polymer never really seemed like an ideal solution.
I like the idea of a removable chassis, for purposes of repair and cleaning. To sure what it does overall to the weight and durability of a glock frame design.

It’s lighter than the Gen 5 G19, FWIW. I trust Magpul’s durability, but we’ll see. Luckily due to the chassis if there’s a problem it can be fixed with a replacement grip frame.

Modularity is one reason the Glock did not pass the Army trials. But yet it is still used in many units. The ruger is a great idea, we will see if Ruger can execute the great idea.
