Nah. Waste of time. Holosun is good, as good as Vortex, likely made in the same factory. If you can afford it, stick with Trijicon, or Aimpoint. Not downing Holosun, but........well maybe I am. Been there done that.No worries - Have a couple of Trijicons, one on my Echelon - but the price is daunting (yes, I know about their program for military, but they only allow one reflex sight per calendar year, and I've bought mine already) so I was considering getting Holosun for the next build/project - a Brownells G19 slide on an existing G19.
My EDC is a P365XL. Love it.
I have a small XD 45. Great gun.Springfield XD 9mm
Shield+ nuff said.I own a Glock 22, a Smith & Wesson 686, and a Ruger single six but I’ve never owned a 9mm. The easy thing would be to stick with Glock but I was wondering what the communities thoughts are
The “California Approved” list and magazine capacity limits complicate the answer.
Not many Walthers on the list, for example. None in 9mm.
Because recoil sensitivity, magazine capacity, and CA DOJ approval are all factors, I would lean towards a 1911.
One on the approved list. Most of the guns recommended are not on the approved list, but a Springfield target 1911 in 9mm is there. Reasonably priced, ticks all the boxes.
Edit: so is the Kimber stainless target.

How has this garbage not made it to SCOTUS??I fell down the rabbit hole a bit looking at the removed guns list.

Wildly specific.
Just an update to my original post.HK VP9SK. My most accurate gun. Very little recoil with SD ammunition.
What do you agree with?Agree with 1911 9mm if one is available.
Agree with CZ75 and variants.
Agree in this case with Beretta M9/92 and variants.
Provided the link early on in the thread. It is still good.Pretty sure most 1911's cannot be added or renewed because they don't have an active loaded chamber indicator. IIRC you must be able to feel as well as see it. (EG an extractor that sticks up qualifies, a notch in the barrel you can see the case does not) Id double check but cant find the code CA DOJ's link is dead too.

Not that link, their link to the actual regulation.Provided the link early on in the thread. It is still good.
