What does that sound like to you guys.....???

Sounds like:
Jury: "Not guilty"
Prosecutor: "[censored]"
Baltimore businesses: "snap, crackle, and pop"

Slow down...and calm down. You, me and everyone else on this board DO NOT know the facts of this case, nor do we know what interaction the officers had with Freddy. I have confidence that justice will prevail in this case just as it did in Furgeson....regardless of whether the officers are guilty or not.

With that being said, i believe that several public officials have been completely negligent on their choice of words...from the mayor to the prosecutor.

I sincerely hope and pray that the entire Baltimore police force quits.
LOL. Yeah right. Where else are roided out loose cannons going to get a job making that money? ZERO resignations forthcoming.

They arrested the guy 5 blocks from the station, less than 0.5 mile away. Easy enough on would think. Apparently not as no less than four stops and the longest scenic route road trip later, they arrived at the station.

Were they listening to Supertramps "Take the long way home?" during the usual "rough ride" program?

Oh yeah. I did. And it was definitely a political speech.

This ain't over. This is going to get ugly. There are plenty of conflicts of interest surrounding her.

I will be the the first to say, if the EVIDENCE indicates that the police broke the LAW, then they should be prosecuted. BUT, so far this smells like a political, racially charged, witch hunt to keep the thugs at bay and to keep Baltimore from being burnt further. Especially given the charges that are being leveled at them. I think this prosecutor is setting up the rats for a verdict that will never come.

That's exactly what sounds like happened. They got that van up to 45 or 50 and stood on the brakes!

These cops will be acquitted and the city will go through the rioting all over again.
I can't see how any stores get rebuilt with destruction ahead.
I'm glad I live in Texas cause this kind of stupid behavior won't get you far with our men in blue.

Unlike Staten Island where I watched the video many times and formed an opinion as to who caused Garner's death, here I have no opinion as to the cause. Not enough information for me.

But the most important thing to remember, bringing charges is one thing, getting a conviction is quite another.

The State's Attorney will now have to prove her case. Much more difficult than making a pronouncement of charges.

Time to let the justice system run it's course.

Dude, its a paddy wagon. They dont just pick up one prisoner and then go straight to jail. They drive around for 30-90 minutes filling up the van with other prisoners and then make one trip to the jail. That's how it works in every big city.

It's the SPEED of the charges being brought that is suspicious.

Looks like the cops are getting thrown under the bus to placate the masses. Any person with that many arrests is hardly a saint.

I've had a simple rule and never been arrested or imprisoned. Simply stay out of trouble.

Works for me...
You are neither black nor an immigrant. I can assure you that the treatment you would get from law enforcement officer would be different if you had different skin color and if you say otherwise, you would not be telling truth.

• A second prisoner, who was picked up after Gray, told investigators that he thought Gray "was intentionally trying to injure himself, according to The Washington Post.

Quote:
The sources quoted by the Washington-based station said the medical examiner had determined Gray's death was caused by a catastrophic injury after he slammed into the back of the police transport van while inside it, "apparently breaking his neck; a head injury he sustained matches a bolt in the back of the van."

Yes, the officials are positively terrified of what will happen if

Frankly I wish all the police forces around the country would just quit, then lets see what happens.

Freddy Gray, a 20 time convicted felon....but he was such a "good boy".

Bottom line is that Mr. Gray will never harm or create havoc for innocent citizens ever again. Thank you officers.

Pretty broad strokes on that brush, wouldn't you say?

I can honestly say that I never treated any minority or immigrant different from a white person because of the color of their skin. Probably applies to 98% of law enforcement as well.

Now drugs dealers, thugs, and gangsters, I treated them like drug dealers, thugs, and gangsters. The color of their skin didn't matter. If they were white and slinging drugs, they went to jail just like everyone else.

Do you want to do away with the Constitution as well? You are entitled to your civil rights even if your arrested and handcuffed. Regardless of your past crimes. This isn't Soviet Russia or Iran.

Not too hard.

Guy got his neck broken while in their custody.

Don't see why his criminal record comes up. Not only is their nothing on that list taht warrants death, it is irrelevant to the matter at hand.
