In the Garage...
Most likely been covered before, but had the WS6 out today. All cleaned up, not a spec of dirt. Guy at the local Safeway said. "One of my top 5 dream cars. Very nice" I thought to myself you need to aim higher, but then I thought some more not many clean ones left and while they don't do every thing perfect. They do a few different things pretty good.
So here are mine.
1. 09 and up CTS-V
2. Current ZR-1
3. Current ZL-1
4. 1969 442, I just love this car.
5. 1955 Buick Special, another car that I would love to just cruise in.

Until then, the WS6 will do, nice to get it out on a sunny day and pull the T-tops out.

Top 5 dream cars::

1969 Ferrari 365 BGT Daytona
1972 Lamborghini Muira SV (but change the headlight bezels back to 1969 varietal)
1966 Jaguar X-KE S
2013 Mercedes S65
1965.5 Mustang

If we're talking dreams then I'm dreaming big

1.) Ferrari 458 Italia
2.) Maserati Gran Turismo
3.) first-gen Z-car (okay maybe this one isn't that big)
4.) E46 M3
5.) Ford GT

Since I can always come up with a car to love. These will be the first top 5 that come to mind.

Nissan Z32, twin turbo
Ferrari F40
1970 E-body of choice (challenger, cuda)
1968 Charger
B7 Audi RS-4

Five is hard to decide:

- Current Cadillac ATS (ATS-V coupe if they ever make such a thing)
- Current ZR1
- '66 Chevelle
- '57 Chevrolet Bel Aire
- '84+ Ferrari Testarossa

I also have a thing for '89-90 Camaro IROC-Z and Firebirds and '90+ Nissan 300zx (shocking I know).

My Top 5

Buick GNX
Buick Grand National
Buick Regal T-Type
Toyota Supra TT
Nissan Z32 (which I have)

If I could have 6

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 (1999 year model)

I have to put that '69 Olds 442 at the top of my list. Love the old Cutlass.

2. '70 AMC AMX
3. '67 Shelby Cobra (non-replica)
4. '87 Buick GNX
5. '68 Chevy COPO Nova

Gotta love old-school muscle cars.

ooooooo I'll play.

In no particular order.

1. '09 Ferrari f430
2. Bowler Wildcat
3. 2014 Corvette stingray
4. Current Porsche 911 GT3 RS
5. Current Audi RS4

And if I could add a 6th I would go with a personally modded '95 Pontiac Firehawk, because I love the look on peoples faces after I tell them they just got smoked by an LT1.

This might change a little bit depending on my mood lol. I feel bad that I haven't included some classic muscle car. Oh well.

I'm lucky to have two of the five. Add:

3. '67 Mustang 390 GT Fastback, Brittany Blue, w/ a 4 speed toplaoder
4. mid-60s El Camino (64-67), small block V8
5. 2005 or '06 Ford GT40
Needless to say; mostly stock w/ none of the stupid after market bling/foose/ rubber band tires junk.

1. Ford GT with twins
2. Lamborghini Aventador
3. 1969 Mustang Boss 429
4. Ferrari 458 Italia
5. 2012 Mercedes Benz G65 AMG, aka the V12 TT Geländewagen (or an SVT Raptor)

I'd have to say my top 5 are as follows.

1. Mc Laren F1 LM
2. Ferrari 288 GTO
3. Pangani Zonda
4. Nissan GTR Spec NUR
5. Corvette ZR1

I'm adding one to my list.

Although I've never liked how the Veyron looks, I would want one just for bragging rights and to feel what it would be like to drive one at top speed.

1 - 1970 Plymouth Super Bird w/ 426 HEMI
2 - 1968 Plymouth Road Runner w/ 383
3 - 1971 Plymouth Road Runner w/ Air Grabber Hood & 440
4 - 1970-1971 Plymouth `Cuda Convertible w/ 426 HEMI ( only if I have a couple extra Million hanging around and could find one of the like dozen ever made )
5 - 1970 Plymouth Duster or Dodge Demon w/ 340

* - for purely nostaligic reasons some day I would love to have another Plymouth that most folks would not even begin to think of as a "dream car". A Volare based Road Runner( 1976-1980 ). Don't laugh now. I had one in high school( 1976 )and it was a really cool car. I think it would make a great daily driver and is not something you see much anymore.

I liked the appearance stuff better on the 1979-1980 models than the 76-78 models. I liked the 76 model only one piece rear spoiler better than the 77-80 3 pieces but other than that give me a 79-80 over the earlier ones. I really would like one of the Black w/ silver or gold graphics( see below ). If I could get one with the optional T-Roof as well that would be a bonus. Would have to have the buckets and floor shifter vs a bench and colum like my 76 too.

I would definitely upgrade the engine as the 318 and 360 offerings were pretty weak( as were most engines in that time frame from all mfg's ). I would either throw a 340 in or maybe even a modern 5.7L HEMI and really suprise folks. I would get a 727 out of a crusier( I did this in my 76 )to replace the stock 904 which was weak. I would also get a 8 1/4 posi rear end( my 76 had this )if it didn't have one already. Hopefully I could find one in tact with all of the spoilers, louvers, wheel well flares, etc... as finding those pieces is almost impossible now and they are very $$$. The graphics are not hard but that hard parts = OY!

Not easy to find these anymore. IF you do find one, and especially one in good shape, be prepared to spend a LOT for it.

This is a 79 stock photo out of the sales brochure. Not great quality but shows what I mean. I prefered the silver to the gold stripe kit but would take either...
