2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2.7L High-Output Turbo Engine Oil Recommendations

Maybe HPL NoVII 5w-30 and a PPE filter?

Is there anything more robust? Definitely most expensive!

It's a really NICE 4 banger, though. Over 300hp and 400lbft torque.

I'd love to hear feedback from folks with these engines in their vehicles. The Cadilliac CT4 offers a version of the 2.7, which has caught my attention.
Our 2.7 4x4 has no problem doing what a half ton should do
On average it hauls about 950+ tools and materials in the bed sometimes nearly empty

I have plenty of 3/4 and 1tons in my fleet so no need to over work this truck

It however burns about 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart at 3k if a person were to run it up to the OLM max by my calculations it works be nearly 2 quarts low 😳

The only V8 I would consider in the GM 1/2 tons is the 6.2

Maybe it's just me but the 2.7 feels better driving then the 5.3. The quarter mile time is about the same and they tow about the same unless you option the 5.3 with the max tow package.

It's been 1 year and 10000 miles since the purchase of my 23 Sierra and no regrets on the engine choice.

We have four 2024 Chevy Silverado Single Cab Long bed work trucks with the 2.7 in our work fleet as of Feb this year.
They've been great so far .
One co-worker has a 2022 Silverado with the 5.3 as their personal vehicle and they like the 2.7 better.

Why such a small engine for a big truck

Apparently GM hired some college boys to make decisions like this
