2021 Subaru Crosstrek drain bolt

On my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek that takes cvt-3 I noticed that on the pan it has a regular I think 14mm bolt but on the drivers side on the bottom of the case is a 8mm hex bolt that is marked cvt-3.Is there a second drain bolt or just use the 14mm bolt?Thank you

Is the second bolt the check plug? That would be my first guess. I don't own a Subaru so couldn't say for sure without seeing it.

Google or YouTube videos may provide answers to that.. but yes the hex may be the check plug. fill the sump until fluid trickles then throw the bolt back in situation my rogue is like that.
