Leaky oil drain plug...leave it?

They didnt bother giving me a new crush washer at the dealer when I picked up some oil and a filter. I noticed today that one drain plug is shorter than the other. Thought that was weird. It's 4wd kubota tractor so there is a shaft that goes through the middle of the oil pan and the oil pan has an indentation. Hence why it has two drain plugs. I hope I hope I didn't strip it out. One plug stopped immediately when it seated and the other was hopefully just crushing the washer down. I do see a slight amount of oil that keeps coming back around the washer. Nothing dripping off the bolt yet, so instead of tightening it more, should I just leave it alone?

Well its leaking on the ground now. 😕 put the torque wrench on it. Its at 20 ft lbs now. Guess if it was striped, it wouldn't hold that? It's 3/4 hex head, but the actual shank is way smaller in diameter compared to what it would normally be which I think is stupid. Hopefully its just the crush washer

My L2800 is losing considerable hyd fluid from a hose at the FEL so an engine oil leak would hardly be noticed ;(

That said, just get a clean pan under that plug and pull it. Install new washer and pour the oil back in w a clean funnel. Voila
