If I were going to make the decision to buy a true semi-custom 1911, I think I’d go with a Les Baer. I like how they do everything “the old-fashioned way”. Everything is hand-fitted, supposedly.

That technique (Bruce Willis) actually "slings" the bullet out of the barrel. It can add as much as 200 fps to the initial velocity.

What was the atrocious Angelina Jolie movie in which she was teaching people to shoot around corners by "throwing" the bullet? I saw a few minutes of it on cable one night and was just about ill watching it...
