The one downside, it's now ticking on it's first cold start in the morning.

Neglected to give an opinion on that.

Mine was cured by filling with M1 HM and a very long drive. A week or so after the first time I put in the M1HM, our sedan was in the body shop from a minor fender bender and a trip was planned, so we took the SLX on to Spokane fromthe Seattle area. After running non-stop the length of Washington in a day on that oil, I have not had lifter noise ever again (4 or so years).

Since you just filled with the T-5, either give it time to work or add 10 ounces of Lubegard Biotech. The ester oil in it can clean as well as help seals. I have been using it for about a year with satisfaction.
