I just called Toyota. They denied reimbursement but they did offer 400 dealership credit for future dealer bills. Which I took immediately.
I can forgive my wife about 58%

That is incredibly generous of them.

Her actually and yes on multiple occasions. Have even filled it up with the spare jug in the truck. I give up.

Definitely do a oil change before you add the oil and send in a sample of the oil and see how much metal is in the oil. To be honest your engine is now a cooking time bomb. The damage is done soon it will be consuming more oil and killing mosquitos as you drive.

I OC'ed yesterday. Drained whatever oil the shop put in and filled with M1 0W40. I changed the shop installed oil filter as well, and I see black metal debries in the filter. Every single pocket looks like this. The car still drives fine. No abnormal noise from the engine
