'97 Chevy Pickup, 4.3L V6. Only 32K miles. Installed Valvoline Synpower (plus NAPA Gold filter)in 11-1-09. Stored with Stabil for 7 months, then driven the last two, putting 3500 all highway miles on the Synpower so far.

When should I change? Thanks.

I'd go to 5000 miles or 1 year.

If your driving in 'severe" mode: 5000K +/-

Non-severe: 7000 +/-

After all...your using a good synthetic... which should give you longer OCI's than conventional.
