@XOM Reorg and HQ move

Thought they were formally headquartered in Fairfax, VA.
Mobil was - and after the XOM merger they ran downstream from there - that was very prime real estate tucked away in the woods - yet near DC … so it was an opportunity to sell & bank some money while ultimately folks would be on the (almost 400 acre) Houston campus …

Was reading the Houston (California) Chronicle - they are even writing positive articles …
Recently they picked up some odd lease acreage along the gulf coast - some speculation that’s it’s part of the carbon capture (physical) plan …

The old Mobil HQ is now a hospital but they aren't using all the buildings yet.

What??? reduced cost? Majority of the O&G employees are now working at home (remote). So they save a lot in water bills, electric bills, Cafeteria snacks, wear & tear in office supplies, etc. Also, 40% of their workforce are contractors.
