Would you continue using Mannol?

i'd first ask who mannol is, and if i dont know i would not use it. Never use no names and everything will be fine

We carry in 504 flavours both Mannol and Mobil 1 Esp …. If a customer is on a tighter budget we use Mannol, I personally have a soft spot for M1 Esp but we have used Mannol in at least 100 cars and have never had a problem with it

Mannol have been flagged up a few times on the VLS , as you are in the UK Smith & Alan in Darlington have excellent reviews and produce all products on site. Not at all expensive, just use generic jugs, members of the VLS and trustworthy over the years.

Are you running it for long drain intervals? If, running a 3-5k mile oci the I'd use it as you say it has approvals. If running it for 10k mile oci's then I'd probably reconsider and run maybe the Lukoil as someone else says is pretty cheap.
I've honestly seen the 20l jugs pretty cheap online and thought about trying it.

I got some Mannol Energy 5w/30 A4 B4 for £10 on eBay, bought two as they were mispriced. The one that claims it's got Easter in it, I've heard this is a bit nonsense.

So far it's done 5,000 miles and feels slippery and looks no different to the Shell Gas To Liquid I used two changes ago at the same mileage, and the Valvoline that was drained previously.

What I have noticed with my unscientific dipstick residue between the fingers test is the oil seems to be much less contaminated since I switched air filters to one that performed well in a seemingly good test on YT.

I don't agree with the whole use sxxt oil and change every 2-3k nonsense, but I also don't think there's any need to go mad and spend loads. Not unless your running something really special.

Z18XE 201,000 miles burning less than a litre every 10k.

Just remember, you are not buying it for the bottle design and fancy claims on the bottle, what matters is what's inside the bottle, unless you like to collect the bottles for their design.
The company should've been fined for false claims and their top management should have gone charged.

Oh I agree, I'm just saying that unless you actually need a high performance oil, it's probably fine. I wouldn't use their brake fluid though, and this stuff I've got is probably cheap because it was subject to some trade descriptions issues by the look of things.

You know the saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. How many times do they need get caught in a lie?
I agree, it's just for my old car it's probably fine. I don't trust them at all, but it's ok for my application. It's probably better than the stuff Vauxhall put into it in 2003, when it was born.

EAC certificate is a conformity document required for import and sales of products in the countries of the Eurasian Customs Union (EACU).
Ah thanks. So it has no bearing on quality.

Having read through I'll be draining that oil soon and using something better. Is Smith & Alan ok?
