Would you buy a Fram if it had metal endcaps?

Okay, I should have said, "...builds all of its automotive oil filters in the United States..." I don't buy motorcycle oil filters, and don't buy Purolator's air or fuel filters, because they indeed are not made in the United States. If they send their automotive oil filter production overseas, then I will probably stop buying their automotive oil filters as well.

I didn't either, but I will this time. I'm using Purolator's new synthetic filter for two 5k mile OCIs on our Acura. Will let you all know how it does in 10k more miles.

no cause they would still make them as cheap as possible and the metal in the endcaps would be low grade steel and as thick as a ply of toilet paper.
