If it’s got the LFX version of the 3.6 then you don’t need to do anything special. Mobil 1 is perfectly fine for these engines along with a good filter. I’ve seen plenty of neglected GM LFX engines and they still hold up.
The LLT V6 is the one you gotta be careful about. The LFX was totally reworked and fixed the shortcomings of the LLT, namely the timing chain system.
