If you know, you know.

Two that I'm personally familiar with: https://eddieworld.com/One, I may add would never fly out West because Real Estate is just too expensive.
Is the bolding of your drama-laden OP pushing an agenda?
It's wrong and people who do that should be executedPeople leave their car at the pump while inside using the restrooms and shopping. Right or wrong, that's what happens.
Other than being locally born (Texas), what could the attraction be? Another slew of heavy Americans wandering around a different kind of Walmart?Buc-cee’s stays packed around here especially on weekends and holidays. It is a cultural icon in Texas.
That sounds too highfalutin fer most truck drivers. Just call them, skrimps. How 'bout adding prawns in Gulf state locations?
It is a tradition in my family. Has been since I was a kid. It is about all about just having fun and enjoying the experience. Cleanest bathroom you’ll find anywhere, the kids get to take pictures with Buc-ee the beaver, everyone can find their favorite road snacks since the selection is so massive. Then we gas up the vehicle and hit the road. It's wrong and people who do that should be executed

You guys should support local small businesses and buy gas from a mom & pop gas station.

We are getting a Buccees just east of Richmond....but it will be a year or 2 before it is open.First I've heard of this chain. Maybe Virginia or Maryland isn't the south?

Those are like in the desert-where land is cheap. Primm, Nevada is -well you know. Two that I'm personally familiar with: https://eddieworld.com/

The 96-pump Chevron station in Nevada: https://www.primmnevada.net/worlds-largest-chevron/
What piece of cheap land would that be one between the Southern Border and where I-5 heads due north towards San Francisco?Would like to see one here in Cali, along the Interstate 5 corridor.![]()
Yes, the restrooms are clean and have many toilets/urinals. No waiting. When you travel with females, this has value.Cleanest bathroom you’ll find anywhere,
Given the choice, I would rather charge an EV in a place where I can kill the time (and check items off my to-do list) by patronizing several small businesses conveniently. Hook up to the charger, hit the produce market, the bakery, butcher, seafood market, etc... , then unplug and hit the road. Several small businesses are supported this way instead of one guy with an estimated $500M chain. The brisket sandwich was ho-hum IMO, a little too fatty and not as tender as what I've found in Texas, but it was decent for gas-station fare. My buddy had that and the burrito, and aside from the gastronomical distress he experienced, said they were both delicious. And store made by local employees.
Considering that a GAS STATION advertises that they will pay $150-225k for a store GM, why exactly again are we pushing EVs that will never generate the kind of revenue that a Buc-ee's will because they use Tesla self-service PowerChargers with no employees required??
Spoken like someone who has never been to a Buc-ee'sThat number of pumps will never be used at the same time. The whole thing is a marketing gimmick.
Yes, the South Carolina one is ALWAYS packed with cars. Its amazing... Im talking about not the gas pumps but the place in general has a parking lot that looks like past of a shopping mall parking lot and always full. People love going there, to eat too, my son and family never pass it by without stopping.I've certainly heard of them and have visited a couple in my travels.
Buc-ee's is an American chain of country stores, gas stations, and electric vehicle chargers created and owned by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III, headquartered in Lake Jackson, Texas. The chain was first founded in 1982 in Clute, Texas and began expansion with its first travel center in Luling, Texas in 2003. The company began expanding outside of Texas in 2018 with the opening of a location in Baldwin County, Alabama, and has since opened locations in Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee, with new locations planned for other areas, including Colorado, Missouri, Virginia, and Wisconsin, if they're not already there.
The chain is well known for the large size of its locations, alongside its product offerings of fuel, snacks, brisket, baked goods and commodities, tacos, fresh sandwiches, souvenirs, and travel items. The chain has also become well known for the cleanliness of its bathrooms, its mascot, and the company's prohibition of 18-wheelers at their locations.
