That is what A/S are good for. Here in CO we have really tricky spring and fall. Monday was 80 and this morning 13 degrees.

I'll admit the AS4's were a PITA to get balanced (several tries by the shop) but they seem like a good compromise so far. The handling is close to the Extreme Sports at least on my car for the driving I do, without the downsides of the summer tires on the surprise cold mornings. If I get more tread life out of them I'll be thrilled.
