I think it would be less confusing to use 16ths, just in automotive sizes

The Great Dumbification started in the '80s.
I'm pretty sure it was a lot closer to the introduction of the television than it was the 80's.The Great Dumbification started in the '80s.
I base my views on experiencing curricula in the US and the UK. I have seen how teaching and academics have changed and how the standards have been lowered so that a large percentage of the US population is now functionally illiterate. They can read a MacDonald's menu and write inarticulate blurbs on social media and they may be specialized idiots in a very limited field. A lady in her 40s failed to count my change back to me. When I asked if she knew how that's done she admitted she did not know. Professional cashier. My fault for paying with cash, I suppose.I'm pretty sure it was a lot closer to the introduction of the television than it was the 80's.
Brawndo will be on the menu board sooner than expected.I have seen how teaching and academics have changed and how the standards have been lowered so that a large percentage of the US population is now functionally illiterate. They can read a MacDonald's menu …

That was Hardees I think…Remember when Burger King introduced the 1/3-lb. burger to compete with McD's 1/4-Pounder?
It failed miserably because 1/3 lb. is smaller than 1/4-lb.![]()
