Although I'm not questioning the performance or quality of Specialty Formulation's fluids, I'd like to see some testimonials from Specialty Formulations customers on the performance of their Autoglide ATF product.

If you have or are currently using the Specialty Formulations Autoglide ATF, please state the following:

1) Year/Make/Model

2) Version of Specialty Formulations Fluid (i.e. ATF+4, Honda Z-1, Toyota T-IV, Mercon V, Matic J, SP-III, etc)

3) How you changed the fluid. (i.e. Exchange or Pan Drain) NOTE: If you did a pan drain, please state how many pan drains did you do.

4) Your thoughts on the product, and how it has performed in your application. (i.e. Did your transmission shift smoother than before or the same, etc.)

Thanks,
Michael

I am buying some today! I'm ordering 3 gallons later today, and will use a Mityvac on my 2001 Saab 9-5 (4-speed auto, dexron III fluid) and will do two drains into the mityvac followed by a refill with autoglide and a couple mile drive. The Saab 60k service just does a drain & fill, which replaces about 3.5L out of 7.5L total. The Saab dealership charges $12.98/qt for Texaco dino ATF - that's the price of a gallon of Autoglide!

Any extra will go into the tranny of my car, a '98 Subaru Legacy with a tranny that was rebuilt ~10 months ago.

Once I have an opinion of the stuff in a month or so I will post about it.

I've changed ATF twice on an 02 Avalon that calls for Dexron III - not the Type IV. Shifting was improved both in the cold and in the heat. Drain and fill each time was about three quarts.

As a result of proprietary testing as an independent consultant for Specialty Formulations AND in feedback from users I have heard nothing but positive results on the Autoglide products.

Note too that SF offers custom formulations for specific applications at a competitive price.

For those of you that have been around long enough to remember settling for and guessing on what fluid was the BEST in your application , Molakule has been a breath of fresh air to the lubricants industry. Mola, Get those PCMO's and HDD's out soon !

SF is going to do motor oil? I'd definitely be interested!!
