Who makes BMW's "store brand" oil?

It is not clear, the 150 countries look good, but I think the US is a big enough market that its name should appear separately in such an announcement.
Agreed, the Shell announcement is not very clear and does not specifically specify North America.

"Hamburg – Shell has renewed its partnership with the BMW Group in the Rest of World (RoW) and Asia clusters. It will continue to supply the aftersales business of all BMW Group brands as the exclusive producer and supplier of engine oil to these regions until 2027."

If you read BMWs business segments online, they break them out as follows:
1) Europe
2) Asia
3) Americas
4) Rest of World

So by inference, Europe and Americas may not be included in Shell's announcement.

Also, we are all pretty familiar with Castrol's announcement in 2021:

"bp (February 15th, 2021), a world leading supplier of high-performance lubricants, and the manufacturer of the Castrol Oil Brands, is proud to announce it has been selected as the engine oil partner for BMW and MINI authorized dealers across the US, Canada, and Mexico. This new five-year agreement re-establishes a long-standing partnership between these two premium brands as Castrol had been the engine oil supplier over a 14-year span."

sure,but what is the rest of the world refers to? is it europe too? bcs. in europe they told me that castrol is the big name too.somebody told me again that dealerships buy barrels from whatever company have the better offer.depsite the deal with shell or castrol.who knows what is happening when nothing can be crystal clear on the bottle description.why cant they label it made by castrol ,so to know where is it coming from?
It is therefore a strange announcement that in 2015 or 2016, when Shell became the supplier (right after Castrol), it was specifically made. Now they name only Asia, but 150 countries cannot be just Asia. Yes, before the announcement I also read the rumors that Castrol would return to Europe. Shell may well have lost Europe and the US...
It modifies

It is true that it is a 2021 announcement, but taking everything into account, it is quite likely that Castrol is the partner in the US.
And from this vague Shell announcement, it seems to have lost Europe as well.

I've been corresponding with Shell since yesterday. I should have an answer soon

no need too..

1) Europe -> CASTROL/BP

3) Americas -> CASTROL/BP

confirms what just i said in earlier post for Europe

no need too..

Based on the highlighted part of Shell's announcement, however, it is as if Shell had remained in Europe. Although it is still strange that he does not name Europe.
