In the upper right hand corner by your display name - click your name, then the bubble next to your post count

Looks like we lost the ability to upload images.

And also no post shortcuts for Smilies, video clips, links etc. in the quick reply, have to go to the full reply mode.

Several other boards I follow use this format... meh. Not horrible, but not a fan.

Software developers apparently just change stuff for the sake of changing it (and maybe to stay employed?), not because its BETTER. Like, why put the sidebar on the right instead of the left? Serves no practical purpose whatsoever, just makes me look in a different place than I'm used to. Same for the "my posts" option.

Now, if the 'Search' function works better, it'll make it all worthwhile because the old version was awful!

you can see your posts if you go to your profile in the upper right. once you click your profile open, there's a posts icon (with a counter). you can click on it and it lists your posts

Who changed the format? Why CAFE of course!! It's a conspiracy!!
Glad there is still the dark option, I wish mores websites had it.

Can't upload pictures either or can't find the button for it. Found the video linking and picture linking button, but no upload feature for images.

Where is the setting for the dark option?

Click your username in the top right corner. Click Preferences. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page - there is a drop-down with skins/styles.

Don't like the right hand "Recent Topics" section; left is my natural muscle memory (I keep my Dock on the left side of the screen on my Macs as well). There is something to be said about software that changes things just for the sake of change, which I'm also not a fan of. Not being a Luddite ... just someone who understands User Interface guidelines for easiest navigation and recognition of functions (eg a button should be distinct from a drop-down menu; the default button should be the most likely choice, etc). In that respect I feel there has been a reduction in ease of use.

Hey, I'm young (at heart), I'll get over it.

Although I sympathize with people who suspect a conspiracy to change the look and feel of webpages and forums just to be clever, in actual fact forum software needs to be kept current to deal with security issues. Of course that doesn't require changing the look and feel so there is some justification to the complaint.
