Hi, I'm the first time in here.
I have 96' Infiniti I30 which has 125k.
The engine was cleaned by Sea foam through vacuum line and a half bottle of the stuff was add in engine oil on last weekend. the engine oil will be changed after driven 500 miles more. It be used to use Mobile 1 full synthenic but this time I would like to change other full synthenic product such as Amsoil, Valvoline, Pennzol, Castrol, or Mobile 1 again. Which one is the best for 96' Infiniti I30?
Thanks.

Does your engine smoke.. show any signs of aging?
Well i'll asume not since its a 96.
I'll recommend these oils.
"Full synthenic product such as Amsoil, Valvoline, Pennzol, Castrol"

1996 INFINITI I30 3.0L 6-cyl Engine Code VQ30DE

FILTERS
Oil Filter........ EAO13 AMSOIL Ea Oil Filter

Air Filter........ EAA74 AMSOIL Ea Air Filter

LUBRICANTS & FLUIDS
Engine Oil
Grade 1......API*
Series 2000 Synthetic 0W-30 Motor Oil
SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil
SAE 5W-30 XL Synthetic Motor Oil
Above 0°F......10W-30
All Temps......5W-30[1]
1. 5W-30 is preferred.

If you want the best, I'd go with these filters and the 0W30 oil. If you have any leaks, get them fixed.

The Wally SuperTech (syn) 10w30 states that it contains seal conditioners. The ST 5w30 does not. I wonder if they've nudged the 10w30 formula a bit toward the HM chemistry.

Meanwhile, Ryan - to help with the discussion - what OCI do you intend to run?

I hear great things about Val. MaxLife. You can't go wrong with Pennz also !

You mean dino or synthetic. I have been using M1 5w-30 synthetic in my 98 taurus from 68K to 153K now. I think it is time to change to high milage oil. Is there any problem to change from synthetic to high milage synthetic? Or I have to keep using synthetic or high milage synthetic. Because I can see the pan is wet with dust but no one drop. Do not need to add oil in at least 5k.

Maxlife, Maxlife, and more Maxlife.

The car is used to use a M-1 Full synthetic Extended and Fram filters. This time I already have two oil filters which are Bosch premium filter($5.99) and Napa Gold filter($7.30). In addition the Amsoil isn't to be found easily near my home even though it can be ordered by the Internet.
Since these reason, it is going to be valvoline or M1 againg(0f course full synthetic).
Thank you guys.

Either one is fine. You have been using synthetic, I would continue with synthetic, but go with Maxlife synthetic, which is very good stuff. But you could use regular (blend) Maxlife and do quite well also.
