I’ve gone through so many phases in my oil journey, but I’d probably settle on Mobil 1 ESP 0W30. Problem is, like I said, I go through phases…from Mobil 1 products, to boutique, to low cost on sale stuff/house brands with a coupon.
And right now I’m back on frankenbrews. Just changed my oil on my Avalon - which is used to Mobil 1 ESP - and decided to go cheap…four quarts of Super Tech 10,000 mile synthetic 5W30, one and 1/2 quarts of Valvoline Synthetic 5w20, and one quart of Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0W40. Using a cheap Super Tech oil filter (that looks like it’s constructed better than most of my higher end filters).
Doesn’t matter, I could put maple syrup in the 2GRFE and it wouldn’t care. Truthfully I may stick with frankenbrews for the next year/20,000 miles and then clean it out with a few rounds of Restore and Protect. I’ll be at 200,000 by then.
