Lots of cars......can you explain your "fleet". Family or Turo car rental??I can run our entire fleet on HPL Euro 5W-40. I don't...but I can. Thought about it and doubling all OCI to help offset cost. Free FCP Liquimoly still works for most of them.
See my sig. Family of 5 all drivers. I have 2 cars. My middle son has 2 cars. I call it my "fleet"Lots of cars......can you explain your "fleet". Family or Turo car rental??
We got a half off deal on WM+ and I have to say it's a great value and convenience.Whatever synthetic 5W-30 is on sale from Walmart. Delivered from nearby store, same day.
Copy that. Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0W-40 it is.Yes. Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0W-40 was the best performing OTS oil HPL had ever tested in their lab and it has a pretty impressive pedigree, though there have been formulation changes over the years.
Viscosity/HTHS wise those two are not wildly different than each other. I believe Mobil 1 0w40 comes in at 3.6 HTHS? Those are almost identicalFor me and my two cars it is Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30. I like the 3.5 HTHS for greater wear protection because I keep my cars for very long times. Mobil 1 0W-40 intrigues me a bit also. I keep thinking HPL, but I'll stay with what I have at the present time.
Just use ESP in the Chevy'sMobil 1 Full Synthetic 0w40 no question. Excellent oil, widely available, cheap, and works in everything I touch. In reality it's a combination of Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0w40, Mobil 1 ESP x4, and whatever cheap dexos oil I find when the chevys I maintain need it.
it's a fine oil but they get dexos and a receipt so that my oil OCD isn't the reason their warranty claim gets denied.Just use Mobil 1 ESP in the Chevy's![]()
