Holy carp - dude you'll be on vacation. IN HAWAII - which island? None of the islands are that big - and you want to get amped?

One cup of green tea on the rocks should do it. Wow. Just don't get so sheet faced at night....these are your relatives. Have some dignity.

There is a new energy drink called "cocaine", that I have seen around here in a few spots.

Haven't tried it.

Honestly, most of those energy drinks don't even supply the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee.

I'd just drink a couple cups of coffee, and keep a bottle of water in the car to keep yourself hydrated.

How do you drive to Hawaii?

well with a rental car - like a madman, i like to see what they are made of. no speeding here though, i have a comercial drivers license and any ticket i get with it i get fined about 3x the norm. just terrorizing the little motor at law abiding speeds thats all.

You can make your own energy drink on vacation as follows:

1 part dairy cream, crack top and set in sun until soured
1 part rendered tallow or lard, just melted, add to soured cream and blend thoroughly
Powered sugar, add to taste
Dash of vanilla
Refrigerate then blend again thoroughly

This energy drink will nicely complement a few bars of pemmican eaten at midmorning and afternoon snacktimes.

And, have fun in Hawaii. It is an interesting and relaxing place.

Very true. Just drink coffee in the morning and toss down a double shot of espresso later in the day if you start feeling tired.

You asked for it .....
Its called "REDLINE* " its very hard to find on a local retail level, its easily comparable to drinking 5 Redbulls.
No joke !! this stuff will amp you UP !

Off topic but caffeine related. At my last complete eye exam the doc asked if there was a space missing in my vision. Their wasn't but he said he was seeing some cloudiness in the back of my eyeball that could eventually cause it. It's usually diabetes related, or, high blood pressure, or too much caffeine! Since the 1st two causes aren't a problem for me I'm on a two month caffeine free period with another exam to follow to see if it clears up. I was drinking quite a bit of good coffee, so it will be interesting to see if it clears up.

Mt. Dew was the energy drink of choice years ago when I had to stay up and study for exams.
