What's everyone's favorite 0w-20 these days?

I'm still using up the clearance $9 per 5 quart jug of Edge EP 0w20. When I'm done with that, it's QS Advanced Durability that I got for $11 per 5 quart jug.
I got a few of those Edge EP 0w20's (the gold 20K OCI version) on 'Clearance' as well. What OCI are you running it?
I'm wondering if the latest 25K version has changed or was the older 20K version good enough to extend the recommendation. I'll probably run it in our Mazda CX-30 for 8K or so.....I'm still hesitant to go above that.

I just ran it for one year in my 2017 Accord hybrid. In that time, I racked up 7,832 mi. I also did a year on my F-150 5.4, but only put less than 3,000 mi on it. I don't think the formula is much different for the 20000 or 25000 mi variants. I wouldn't be worried about going 8,000+ on your Mazda as long as it was mechanically sound.

Oh, IDK if I have a favorite. I've been buying lots of SuperTech & CarQuest oils.
I often get AAP & W*M gift cards for helping neighbors. Cutting lawns, fixing/repairing things around the home etc.
This makes it an easy decision for me.

There's a chance that the formula hasn't changed at all. Instead, it might just be that they have a larger data set which justifies additional claims about the same formula. I've seen that type of thing happen up close and in person with engine ratings-- you launch at one rating because your test data hasn't fully demonstrated reliability at the higher rating, then you switch to the higher rating once you get the last of the testing done and documented.

I've not been here in a few years and had a stockpile of good ol PP 0w-20, which has run out. So now I haven't caught up on the latest standards and what's good these days. Any suggestions for a good 0w-20 available at normal retailers or amz (not boutique expensive stuff).

[edit: also my car calls for 5w-20 but has 88k now, should I try something a little thicker like 0w-30?]

cheers!

I’ve run Chevron Havoline Pro-DS 0w20, because 1. I buy it direct from a distributor; Santmyer. Which allows me to buy in bulk. I get sent more every few months.
2. My employer gives me a maintenance stipend, it’s not my money
3. It’s good enough to get several of my vehicles past 300k so far, well except an old Hyundai it missed the mark by 3k.
What you put in it is less important that how much how often and with a good filter. My rule is My OCI is half whatever the manufacturer recommends. So a recommendation of 10K OCI becomes 5k.
I don’t pay for it so I could care less if it’s too often.

My mechanic told me to use Red Line. He is very honest, I trust him.

I have 2 jugs of shell gas truck Ow20 and nothing that takes it. Nothing has convinced me that 0w20 is better or worse. I've always been a 10w30/40 kinda guy. Like mobil one or rotella.

HPL Premium Plus. The cold temperature properties are amazing even if I will never need them. My daily driver is a PHEV that will start the ICE if I get too aggressive with the accelerator pedal. Having an oil that can get places fast is important when you are going to near max power within seconds of starting a cold engine at zero degrees F.
IF I ever run 0w-20 again, it’s HPL or nothing. That’s coming from running their 10w-20 previously.
