I'm getting back into hunting and marksmanship again after a long hiatus.

I love to cook outdoors with multiple gas grills & smokers including a trailer mounter 24" diameter smoker.

Military history buff and (non-computer based) simulation and gaming.

I hope you use that smoker more than the gas stuff

I hope that you have been doing good. Always good to see you on here.

And if you all come to Se Va.... A smoked ham will be ready for you

I am an expert downhill skiier and my winter filled teaching kids and personally any powder day I rearrange my work day to get on the slopes.

Where do you typically ski???

Guns, shooting, reloading, and knife collecting are my main interests. I was heavily into motorcycling as well for over 20 years until we moved here. Traffic is too heavy, and too many idiots out there. So I got rid of them. Now that I'm retired I really miss riding. I'm always tempted to get back into it. If we ever move where it's less populated, I would most likely get one.

Just looking at his BITOG name, I'm going with Mad River Glen.

"Ski it if you can!"

I like keeping busy between working on things to property upkeep.

A hobby I guess would be grilling and cooking. We also enjoy a weekend at the lake. Fishing, bike riding, kayaking, (working on things when the opportunity presents itself.)

I also collect micro brewery pint glasses if that counts as a hobby. Lol.

With kids an area called Wildcat in NH which has a lot of great skiing off the mapped trails.

Powder days I hit Jay Peak VT, Canon, Mad River, Wildcat.

I spend two weeks on Alta in UT a year. Hit a a few others on weekends out there.

I enjoy a good cup of espresso in a heated demitasse .

I have a small collection of espresso machines. Not to be confused with espresso makers.

I do that too. Mastery is cool but sometimes I'm quite satisfied with just getting a good knowledge of a subject. Thankfully most of my hobbies tend to take up not a lot of space and most get boxed up when done. And are free to come out later.

As a kid I built some scale models, the plastic 1:25 kits. Haven't done that in years so I should probably move on.

Picked up ham radio later in life, mostly Morse code, will make a few contacts and turn off the radio for a year.

Joined a firearm range and fooled around 22's and a 38. Started reloading 38. Club rules changed and gave up membership. Haven't shot anything in several years.

Have a scrollsaw and dabble over the winter months.

Have a road bike which is probably my most active hobby. Nothing grand, no centuries for me, and no cool bikes. I wear the cheapest spandex but enjoy my rides and that's all I'm after.

Wife got the kids into the performing arts, mostly ballet but a bit of acting too. I got dragged in also, which has been an experience. Just small town stuff but fun in its own right.

Besides my family and Granddaughter I love to ski, both nordic and downhill, at Stowe VT and Alta UT. Mountain and road biking in the east and west. Long distance travel by car. Went to Newfoundland for a month last year. Going to Sedona in October this year, with our bikes. Beekeeping - I currently have 6 hives and teach the neighborhood kids about bees. Cooking. And lastly, maintaining two Volvo 240 Classics for the long distance travel and everyday use.

I snowmobile and collect baseball/hockey cards mainly but outside of those I also enjoy boating and my summer trailer/vacation spot.

I also enjoy maintaining my vehicles (just added a 3rd, my son's) as well as doing, or trying to do, most things around the house myself.

I use to downhill ski, dirt bike/MX race and atv but got busy with my son's hockey as I am a trainer and an assistant coach. My son just informed me yesterday he is finished with hockey as he simply doesn't have time with school, work and his girlfriend. He is 17 and this would have been his last year anyways (Major Midget) so hopefully, snow permitting, I can get some more sledding in now?

I plan on retiring next June/2019 so hopefully I can find some time to get back to working on my Pro Street Monte Carlo which hasn't moved in at least 16 yrs.

You ever go to game conventions? You'd love GaryCon!

I'm a tabletop gamer...1st Edition AD&D, mostly. Also a wargamer, though with limited opportunity to do so-Squad Leader, Tobruk, Dawn Patrol, Panzerblitz, Desert Steel.

Useless trivia: the ONLY game played at every GenCon is Dawn Patrol. It was designed (originally called Fight In The Skies) after Mike Carr after h saw the movie The Blue Max.

My wife and I bike a little; I also build scale models and occasionally help friends select components for(and install) home theater systems.

Cool, me too! I only have about 15 though. Oldest I have is a Westinghouse Aeriola Sr. from about 1921. I think my favorite is my 1936 Zenith 10S153 console, it was given to me by a friend. Still works beautifully and it's built like a tank. Then there are others in various states of (dis)repair that I'll get to someday. I have a 1935 Silvertone console that I truly restored. Dial glass and needles were missing when I found it, grille fabric was shredded, filthy as heck, speaker was sitting next to it since the screws were stripped. I made new needles, repainted parts of the dial, overhauled all the electronics, cleaned the wood, reattached the speaker and replaced the grille fabric.

Also a ham radio operator, home brewer, and play guitar.
