what oil for next change?

hey guys i have a 92 dakota 3.9 with about 160,000 miles when i first got it a couple months ago i put maxlife because i got it for free and i will be changing it in a couple weeks and was wondering if its ok to switch from that to a conventinal like havoline? because of the mileage i thought conventional was better because it wasnt run on synthetic before is this true?

You can run either you like. If it uses oil , its more cost effective to run a conventional.

What ever dino oil is on sale is fine but stick to 3-5K OCI and you should be fine. I would recommend PYB.

ok thanks guys, i always came to this forum looking up info on oil and i finally decided to sign up lol im glad i did and i plan on only using wix oil filters in my car now that i seen what junk fram is
