New motor and transmission mounts into the MB E320, along with new air, fuel, and cabin filter.
Passenger side mount was collpasing and leaking it's goo. The mounts are basically rubber bags filled with silicone jelly sitting in an aluminum cup.
Soooo smooth now. No vibrations in the steering wheel and all I can hear is the injectors when accelerating. Quiet when cruising, as it should be.
The engine mounts on the OM642 diesel aren't that hard to do if you remove the air filter boxes so you can work both above and below.
The manual says drop the DPF to take the passenger side mount out towards the rear. That's not necessary. If you disconnect the air line from the intercooler to the intake, the mount can come forward and up through the top. Driver's side just drops to the rear.
