Liver
I cook and consume my liver out in the camper, otherwise I never hear the end of itI gotta say the liver was so good I ate way too much. Very tasty
Yes. I cooked the onions first on the griddle outside then the liver. Not familiar with cooking liver whatsoever so I didn’t want to cook at the same time but it turned out fine. Breaded with zesty herbs and salt and light millet almond flour mixI cook and consume my liver out in the camper, otherwise I never hear the end of it
My wife cooks it in goop that I have no idea what it is because the bottles are labeled in gobbledygook curlicue writing. Tastes good though!Yes. Indoors no go blood aroma or some nonsense. From people who eat sea urchin reproductive parts
Sounds like my mom bless her heartMy wife cooks it in goop that I have no idea what it is because the bottles are labeled in gobbledygook curlicue writing. Tastes good though!
Growing up my Mom turned liver into shoe leather and we smothered it in ketchup and fried onions attempting to cover the taste. Funny, now I like it with onions and ketchup, but not fried into shoe leather.
I love the cap, the bone, not so much.Ribeye tonight

What is this "too much meat"? I don't understand.A Prime ribeye and a two-thirds. I cut about a fifth from the large piece for the wifey, I get the two-thirds and my son gets the large piece. I finished the two-thirds, it was just too much meat for me. Also tried new seasoning.

Too much protein. I should have portioned a quarter of that piece to the wifey. What is this "too much meat"? I don't understand.
Looks delicious!
Former carnivore here. Left kidney removal caused to me to go to low purine diet, where 2 oz meat per meal is allowed. Meat and other stuff hard on remaining kidney, so I am still learning how to cope fifteen months later. Needless to say keto, etc is out. What is this "too much meat"? I don't understand.

I bought a box of 500 individually wrapped plastic straws for $10 and I keep a bunch of them in my cars. I hate paper straws, they fall apart too easilyMy wife carries stainless steel straws in her purse. Some won't like the steel taste, but it beats the feel nasty paper on you lips collapsing in use.
If your remaining kidney is healthy you don’t need a special diet. I had my right kidney removed last November and I was never told to restrict my diet because of that. Just to make sure to drink a bit more water than I previously did.Former carnivore here. Left kidney removal caused to me to go to low purine diet, where 2 oz meat per meal is allowed. If I want to eat a large piece of meat, I go vegetarian for the rest of the day. On the other hand, I can drool at your pictures!
Mine is not healthy. Even after the cancerous removal functions went up a bit and is now declining again, so I really have to be careful (no corn syrups, no hfcs, no beer, etc). I do a lot more organics than I ever did. Have a really good nephrologist that I can contact daily as we figure this out. Bad news is I am on a high prednisone dose to try to get the functions better, and that comes with its own risks. Am using insulin temporarily to block out the extra high glucose caused by the prednisone. If your remaining kidney is healthy you don’t need a special diet.
