Midnight Snack
A couple of days ago I heard the siren song of the local Trader Joe's, and while picking out a cheese I saw these nuts which were shelved right by the cheese and dairy section. I'd not seen this flavor cashew before, and I do enjoy some other flavored cashews, so I grabbed the bag. As you may have noticed, the bag is now empty. In a sense, that's my review other than to say that the ranch flavor is my least favored of all the flavored cashews I've tried. But that's more of a preference than a judgement of the quality or flavor. I just prefer my flavorings more picanté.

Never had that but used to make it with kumquats from my parents tree. Awesome

How is that? How much added sugar ? Etc drooling frankly
I prefer my own because it's less sweet. That one just showed up in my pantry. I half expected to also find a Deere head in there - in the pantry not in the jar.

Yuzu must imply any kind of citrus, or is there yuzu in there, or third some kind of cornfusion between the distinct yuzu fruit and kumquat fruit? Wait those really aren't separate questions. :)

Kinkanyuzucha. Yuzu tea, Kinkan = kumquat. yay! Kumquat in yuzu juice, well that would explain lots of sugar.

Kumquats are truly unique but after several pounds, I'm not good to be around even though energy problem solved for years to come.

Lunch at the Local Sikh Temple Today

View attachment 247346
All my Indian co-workers strongly urged me to go visit a Sikh temple on a Sunday for their communal meal. My co-workers aren't Sikh, but apparently the Sikh temples and their members love to have visitors come eat with them as it's a tenant of their beliefs to feed the poor. I've never gone, but there are a few temples close to us.
