Where's the breadcrumb and herb crust? Also, elbow pasta is not ideal for mac and cheese. Rigatoni are more suitable. By the way, Italians call all tube-shaped pasta, solid, hollow, bent or straight, smooth or with ridges maccheroni. I'm feeling critical today! Very critical and even petulant.

We fought a revolution over macaroni and some other stuff. Those Italians can go take remedial spelling lessons. Merica! ;)

Coworker is a garbage disposal unit. Three square fast food meals a day even if he eats at a proper restaurant. He had three sliders and pile of fries around 1500. That's more fries in one go than I eat in three months. I only had a cup of coffee and enjoyed the show.

Two hours later I had a chicken souvlaki bowl for dinner and he joined me and had the same. Then he got a double order of falafel balls (12 balls total) to go. He's hopeless.

Spinach and onions, cherry tomato omelette. Yogurt and black and strawberries. Peets coffee. Heading back home to mom and stepdads today then pack what stuff I have Thursday and go back to Pittsburgh for Good Friday.

While the Revolution was sparked by a complex array of factors, including Enlightenment ideals and social injustices, economic crisis and bread shortages played a significant role in the king’s downfall.

Rising Prices and Bread Riots

The cost of bread, a staple food for the majority of the population, had increased dramatically, leading to widespread protests and riots. The nobility refused to pay more taxes, and the peasants were unable to afford the rising prices. Even King Louis XVI, who was known for his love of hunting and locksmithing rather than governing, recognized the gravity of the situation
